Hi folks,
There was a plan announced in Flypast/A*roplane some months ago which aimed to bring a Bristol Freighter home to the UK for the Bristol Aero Collection (currently at Kemble). Things have gone a bit quiet since then and I’m just wondering what stage the plan is at,if indeed there is still a project on the go.
It seems a great shame that there isn’t a single example of this important British type preserved in the UK.

I think it has now been sold somewhere else in Oz or Nz
I heard that the seller did not have any further contact with buyer/or no money was forthcoming/could not be raised
