M1c in Chile

a friend of mine brought me these images of a M1C replica of Museo Aeronautico de Chile. Hope that helps a bit…:)

I have a 3 view of the M1c which you can have a copy of if you need it.

Chris,

The picture on that main page is the best plan I have seen from the web! (dutifully saved!)

I had noticed that there were some RC plans out there but wanted to try and avoid getting one set of plans then completely re-drawing to represent the original structure (which I don’t even know yet!)

If, after a while I can’t get hold of anything else, that plan may well be my starting place.

Thanks for everyones quick replies soo far!

Are you looking for plans on the real thing to backwards engineer it, or a source for R/C plans?
Here is one of those sources for a 92″ span( of course it’s not free) 😉

saw another in California, none on your side of the pond?!? of course that just may be my google settings starting “locally”!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Thanks Andy………

I intend to get in touch with the Filton heritage guys when I get back to work, so hopefully that’ll throw up some useful info, ’til then, can anyone recommend any good books (is the windsock datafile one still available?)

WWI is not my thing…..making an exception since I work where these used to be made…..

not yet, I’m just trying to see if I can find enough info to do a large scale model of the aircraft….do you think they’d be able to provide access to some drawings?

PM me in the new year and I’ll ask.

The only way to find out is to ask. The Shuttleworth collection seem to be very helpful if it’s possible so they have to be worth a try.
