Britannia's photos

I don’t know if this will go down well but can I make this thread ‘ Britannia’s photos’ and I will add my photo’s to this thread so there’s no need for me to post new thread’s?

And just a little narrative on this particular BY732 seen in Manchester. The aircraft was later transferred over to Sabre Airways and was registered with Sabre from 1994 – 1998 before migrating back to the U.S.

This 1974 built (30 year old!) aircraft now flies for Westjet of Canada under registration C-GUWJ. Good to know its still around. 🙂

BRS and observation facilities

Good Photos Britannia!

Although I take loads of photos at BRS I’ve never put any on the internet but I’m going to soon.

Re Britannia a/c

Hi there! Nice to see the good old Brit again…a pity it was delayed by BOAC and allowed the 707 to be come commercial!..The reverse flow intake and icing problems was the excuse used at the time ..Ah well!..never mind..its water under the bridge now..What camera did you use for those lovely shots by the way?..

I hope they don’t use them to Manchester in September because I want to go on the Avro RJ again!

I very much doubt if they are using A319s to NCL, they cant fill them.

Well they are here every afternoon.

Gee are they now even using A319’s to Newcastle, they can’t even fill an AR8! There must be better destinations for them to use the A319 to!

Thanks for that Sandy. I now realize where my mistake was. I was just clicking on the “insert image” icon near the top. I wasn’t seeing the “manage attachments” link near the bottom there.

One is glad to be of service :DD

How do we do that, because I was just kind of goofing around with it, and couldn’t see the difference from before. Do we just put comma’s in between attachments, or something?

Press the “post reply” button or “new Thread” button, whichever is applicable.

Below the text entry field there are a number of controls. There you will find “Manage Attachments”

Click it and a small dialogue will pop up with 5 browse fields, an upload button and a close window button.

Browse for your attachments. Once you have filled in the fields, press upload and wait as the message will suggest.
You will then se a summary of the files you uploaded. Close the window and post the thread/reply

Simple 🙂

Great photos, Britania. Are we able to make multiple non-url attachments per post now?

Looks like we can upload up to 5 attachments with each post. 😉
