Does this mean BA are converting all their orders to the ‘800R’?

The article says:

The increased weight version, which is not a new “-800R” type variant, says Carcaillet, will be introduced with a new build standard in 2012. He adds that the performance gain came from a requirement for a couple of customers during sales campaigns against the Boeing 747-8I. BA and Emirates will be the first to receive the upgraded aircraft, in 2012.

So I guess there’s no change in the orders to -800R.

Introduction of the A380 would be a good opportunity for BA to introduce a new colour scheme… it’s been going down-hill since Negus

I think there is a plan to introduce a revised livery by the time the A380 arrives…

Why? Their current livery is very classy.

I was gonna say, they’re yet to get the standard -800 version!
