Can anyone tell me what year British Airways introduced their World Tails?
I ask because I’ve come across a photo of mine taken when passing through Heathrow Airport and it’s of British Airways Concorde (G-BOAC) but it’s still in the old Red/Navy Livery, but in the background is a 747 and another Concorde aircraft in the new livery and I’m unable to remember when it was taken?
Thanks in advance,

RE: British Airways Question (???)
I saw the first Interim livery at LGW (I think or it may of been Lhr)
and that was Spring/Summer 97. The full new livery was introduced June/July 97. there was alot of um’s and ahh’s at my work then (BA staff travel) but every one thought it was a waste of money and should of just kept a similar livery, but BA’s board know’s best and they wanted to be more multi cultured and show that there thanks to foreign travellers as BA carries more oversea’s passengers than British passengers. I wonder why?

RE: British Airways Question (???)
BA’s world tail image was unvailed on June 17th 1997 and G-BOAC was painted before Febraury 1998.So your picture is between June 1997 and February 1998.
