Was at the Canadian Aviation Artists Association conference in Victoria last week…saw these classic over-‘ome designs while there…
Bristol (Fairchild) Bolingbroke IV, RCAF 9104, on show at British Columbia Aviation Museum; rescued 1946 for a reputed $50 by George Maude (who also saved another Boly and a P-40; all three are extant and restored)
Avro Anson II, FP846, another BCAM exhibit
Scaled-down SE5a and Spitfire, also at BCAM

Auster AOP.6 at BCAM
Vickers V757 Viscount at BCAM…nice to see a fairly big propliner indoors at an enthusiast-run museum, eh?
Under restoration at Victoria Air Maintenance (who have done many warbirds including CWH’s Firefly), this is Bob Jens’ DH Mosquito B.35 VR796/CF-HML, which is to wear the livery of the famous “F for Freddie” which crashed at Calgary, Alberta, while on a war bond tour in 1944.

The Viscount looks good. Is there a 2nd hangar at the BCAM now? The Viscount was outside with a B26 when I visited a few years ago.
