British European at Headcorn

Hi,

I made my first visit of the year to Headcorn a couple of weeks ago (July 13th). Although it was one of the hottest days this year, the airfield wasn’t as busy as I was expecting, but Headcorn always manages to attract some interesting visitors.

There was some sort of mini Aircoupe fly in which attracted OO-PUS:-

It was the first time I had seen the new parachute plane, G-GOHI, which was kept pretty busy taking jumpers aloft:-

G-ANRF was an interesting vintage visitor:-

G-VOID on her way to the active:-

G-BPCF was one of the more colourful visitors:-

And the reason for the thread title? Well, you never know what is going to turn up at Headcorn, but I don’t think I would have put much money on seeing an aircraft in British European livery when I set out that morning. But here it is, as worn by G-SIXT:-

I hope the photos are of interest – more can be seen at http://www.flickr.com/photos/indiaecho/
