British Media Law

Is it true that a person if masters in media studies cannot take up a job as a journlaist in UK?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-11-02 AT 05:55 PM (GMT)]Yes they advise you against it.I had a cousin who went into journalism and she said that they advise you not to take that option at university.I think it is something to do with the standard of English and the fact that you may be too aware of certain aspects of journalism though i’m not really sure.
