Does anyone have information on the British Midland Commuter BAe146 service operated for Lufthansa? Cheers in advance…

Does anyone know if these flights operated under BM or Lufthansa flight numbers?

When the 146’s were operating the LH contract, they operated with LH flight numbers. With bmi schedules, they operated with bmi flight numbers.

We kept a single 146 for a short period to act as a backup aircraft, but it was eventually used to enable bmi to release the F70s to KLM, hence the 146 operated out of EMA for a week or two (circa April 2002).

Whilst I was still there, I seem to remember the 146’s also operated on the EMA-BHD route for a while, probably after the LH flights stopped.

Don’t think it lasted long. It was nice to see another type with BD at EMA for a while though.

We operated upto 5 BAe146s on various routes, out of BHX, MAN and STN on behalf of LH after Debonair went bust.

The contract was not renewed and we stopped operating for LH around the beginning of 2002.
