British phenolic control pulleys

Dear all

Does anyone know of a source of these? Light aero have them but charge GBP 49.00 each!

Hi Bruce

There is a picture of one of the smaller pulleys on the LAS website: http://www.lasaero.com/article/a-british-pulley

I am after some AS104 pulleys – 3.5″ diameter for the Whitley.

Elliott,

Post a picture of one – there are many different types. Spitfire ones for example are unique to that aircraft.

I may be able to help, and rather cheaper than that!

Thanks LL

I have found a source at only GBP 15 each so that’s a big improvement.

Cheers

Try Adams Aviation Supplies – I don’t have price lists for them, or even a web-address, but googling them will find what you need. You will have to phone them as they don’t allow random searching of their catalogue. Remember that they supply new certified parts just like LAS, and as soon as you attach a Form 1 to parts, the price triples.
