British SE-210 Caravelle ?

Dear friends !

Somewhere on the Net, long time ago, I have read the information, that one SE-210 Caravelle aircraft was registered in Britain as G-ASYY.

Who can say exactly: is this information true or false ?

If this fact is true – maybe, anybody have some images of that British Caravelle ?

Wait for the answers.

What Your opinion about this ?

As has already been mentioned, G-ASYY was allocated to an Aero 45 (c/n 51-186) in 1964, the aircraft being wfu in April 1978.

UK registrations are not re-cycled.

One of Flyer’s previous threads has more information: http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=96507 🙂

Agreed that all the registrations you have quoted do refer to the Caravelle c.n 83 with the exception of ‘SYY. There is no record of this one for the Caravelle. It was not possible to check the Myanmar registration.:D

This would be the second error we have found with Pascal’s information this year, but not surprising considering the wealth of information that he has provided.

Well, thank You all for Your answers.

I have remembered: I have found this information somewhere in register’s tables (this table looks like those from Pascal Brugier’s site) – see quote below:

G-ASYY S.N.C.A.S.E. 210 CARAVELLE III 83 F-BJTC,OD-ADY,F-BKGZ,G-ASYY,XW-PNH,F-BSGZ, . . . . .

What Your opinion about this ?

I’m not sure that the type ever had a British Certificate of Airworthiness.
