British U/C indicator id help please : Hurricane ? and ???

Hello,

Just found those 2 U/C indicators mixed in a box of US instruments.

From another post, i think one may be Hurricane (but is it specific to that aircraft ?), but the second one eludes me.

Anyone can help ?

Hello Laurent

The Hurricane U/C indicator is the only part I miss for my Hurricane instrument panel.
You´ve got a PM. 😀

Hi Airmanual

Your second gauge is similar to the Whitley UC indicator we are hunting for to help complete our panel. If it is available I will give you a good price for it.

All the best

The second one could be Miles master I at least…
I checked on the pilot’s notes and it looks the same as yours.
See this very fine picture of the instructor cockpit:

and that one is nice too

P.S:
Have a look at this poor picture of a stirling cockpit, what do you think ???

No, absolutely nothing on the body : no serial, no number or indication whatsoever.

just opened the back and found its 12 volt.

Fascinating items!

A C4845B is one of the indicators listed for the Hurricane.

The other one could be from a number of different types. There will probably be a clue in the Type No., or Air Ministry Stores Ref., or even a clue as to whether it’s 12 or 24 volts would help.

Anything on the dial or body to help us?
