Thanks Tim, all good now.

A film about the MSFU? I’ll be first in line for that on DVD! Would love to know more once you’re free to talk of it Tim. 😎

Model? No!

Seaman? I was lucky – had good relations with them. But at least one pilot refused to go to sea again with the same Captain!

Fantastic Tim, your little model may not be quite up to par with Todds excellent work, but my god you’ve caught the lines and character of the Hurricane very well – do you still have it?

Must have been strange being an RAF fighter pilot, then having to be a seaman for a while!

Sorry to hear of your problems, Todd.

Person has been asked to make a film about MSFU – I don’t know how much I can say at this stage. I am shortly to be talking with him. Not many others around!!

= best wishes, Tim

The model I carved in the 10 days crossing to Halifax.

…and LU-V it will be soon Tim!

Story to be revived in what way?

-Todd / No4

Thanks, everyone.

I got to the Home Page & Forum but wrongly thought that there was nothing new there.

Just wanted to alert him ( http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47734 ) to the fact that the story of the CAM Ships is about to be revived.

Had it been LU-V it would have been my beast!

Hello Tim,

I apologize for being a stranger around this and the Britmodeller forum for some time now. Family life took a bit of a bad turn about a year ago so hobbies had to take a back seat, but I’m back on top now and have been thinking about my commitment to you to build your Hurricat LU-V. About time I got started isn’t it?!! 😀

Having read that thread, I think it’s time to give up model building! 😮

Agreed, that must be the definition of patience and persistence!

But the thread is a double edged sword.

I’ve just lost another hour to it! 😀

pagen01 – yes – I had forgotten the link.

And after spending an hour enthralled by Russian Convoys 1941/1945, I was not up to searching.

It’s the most impressive build I’ve ever seen.

I agree, that is stunning and I was really pleased to see him using my Hurricane book, it was exactly this sort of thing it was produced for but I never thought I would see one that good.

Don’t go there Tim, unless you have a few spare hours…

I made the mistake of looking there around 2200hrs last night, I was still there approaching 0100.

Some of the work is incredible

Hope you’re well…was going to fly the Chippy at Turweston and perhaps drop by for a cuppa, but snow stopped play:(
