Does anyone out there know any details about the series of BN Defenders (G-TEMI, G-DLRA, G-BVHX, ZG989) that were fitted with AEW radars on their noses in the 80’s & 90’s. Apparently Grumman still have one, N360TL.
What were they used for?
Who operated them?
Were some aircraft re-registered?
Hope someone can help as its almost impossible to find any literature on them and I have a nice resin kit to build as one of them.
