Hi all
All I can say is WOW, yet again the LPG and all at Brunters have pulled off a fantastic day for the jet minded enthusiast.
I was treated to the sight, sound and smell of the Victor, two Lightning’s, Iskra, Jet Pig, Hunter and Cranberry all with large doses of sunshine and friendly people (I guess you could say I enjoyed it!!).

I was there (as i have been for the last 18 years) not on the “flight line”, I was building the hanger over the far side
1st bit of canvas on our “new” hanger, beech covered for the first time since coming out of the main “vulcan” hangar, maybe i will get to work on it again soon.

a big THANK YOU to all at bruntingthorpe yesterday.first time i have been and will become a regular. it was especiialy good to see 2 lightnings and also meet a couple of lads i knew when on 5 sqn.my wife took the enclosed photos whilst i took a very amateur video!!

Hi John
I was sood with all the guys with ear defs on, We were having a bit of Victor team on tour day, some of our guys went down to bruntingthorpe last wednesday to pack a brake chute and show the Victor team down there how it’s done and then we went yesterday to show them how to fit it in the aircraft. We had a good day and a big thanks to the guys down there for a good day.

Damn Scott!! you must have been stood right next to me when the Bucc was being tested I have the exact same photo!!, Shame the port engine didn’t spark into life but for all their hard work you can see it’s paid off.
Can’t wait to see her taxi run, that will be awesome!!.
