Great News!
This is great news as she is starting to look a tad tired even though she is quite obviously cared for very well…

Yep, sounded like a repaint of the existing scheme.

The Buccaneer Aviation Group had another successful weekend at the recent Bruntingthorpe open day.
Hard to believe we started off all those years ago as like minded individuals and have since come together as a group with four Buccaneers in our care!

More of my photos can be seen here:

Dennis Brookes was the man driving the Lightning, he was also at the controls of XX900 and the Canberra.
Yes indeed, 3 cheers for Dennis Brookes! – big salute to all your Lightning guys! xx

Great Day all round!
Yes, for the visitors and operators I think it went very well. Pity about the odd shower, and programme changes because of minor un-serviceabilities. That said, all who were meant to show off did just that! The Victor went on full power today being in a good serviceability state. In addition, it was able to stream its brake parachute for the first time in about two years. (Long story!) If anyone has any pictures of the actual stream sequence I would be most grateful to see them for analysis. Thanks to everyone who came to support the event, and thanks to all the people I met and their comments about the Victor. Who needs a Vulcan anyway!! LOL Bob

What a great day ! Weather stayed good other that a short shower ! Well organised and lots to see ! Was wondering where the Buccs had been hidden then 1 followed by 2 appeared. Nice work.
Lots of new aircraft out on the pan and lots of old Faves. All taxi runs where brilliant, the Lightning put on a loud run and am still pulling grit out of me now from the Victor run.
Only place in the UK where u can get so close to the action. Love it.
Congrats to the BBMF too, great flypasts from the hurri and a great 2 Jp taxi run with the guest JP using it as a take off run.
To all at Bruntingthorpe, all your hard work payed off and thank you for a brilliant day.
