Hi guys
Found this video on You Tube while looking for other Victor footage.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6goAVRSLVs
I have seen a better video of the incident from a link on another forum but I felt strongly enough I posted this you tube link.
I apologise now but………
This guy is such an idiot.
Who uses words like “Near Crash” in their title when it was no where near as bad as it makes it seem.
Does he just show complete ingnorance of aviation or is he just a scaremonger.
One other thing is that he cant contain himself to keep filming so that he gets the full drama captured for the authorities. He suddenly forgets to point the camera anywhere.
Your comments are welcomed here.
Am I just becoming Victor Meldrew even although I am only 36 or just a grumpy old git.
What say all of you.

Not the first time XM715 has seen some off road action, it ran out of runway at St Mawgan (a feat in itself:D) at the airday in 1975 & ended up on the grass.
Impressive vids those:cool:

What a surprise.
The guy has now removed the video from You Tube.
Guess he didnt like the comments people were leaving or he was asked to take it down.
Perhaps we will never know.
Does anyone know if anything has been released officially by the CAA yet.
Last thing I read was that the authorities were not taking any action but the CAA were investigating. Has this changed at all.
Thanks guys. (and gals)

Good video, but i read on another forum that a guy from the AAIB was there and praised the pilot for his skillfull control of the aircraft and the CAA have said they were taking no action which is good so no one needs another ‘oh god we all could have died!!’ like the bloke on you tube says:mad:
Still i did chuckle at what flypast put in their news section about it being covered on Forums;)

is there a better version of this somewhere? The guy hasn’t a clue about shooting video, but his comments in the description of the video take some beating – ****!

I have to say I was quite irritated by the guy’s comments about it being a “shameful incident” and dealing “harshly with those responsible”. The guy needs to lighten up.

I’m sure many of us that didn’t witness the incident have been waiting for film like this to see what all the fuss was about – well the clip misses virtually everything with the exception of the initial take-off. I assume this guy went to support the ground running of these superbly maintained and operated machines, yet his actions are more like those of someone with the opposite desire! I considered posting a comment to set him straight, but didn’t fancy getting drawn into the usual YouTube foul-mouthed slanging match.
Victor Meldrew? He’d be turning his One Foot in the Grave!
