Bruntingthorpe website?

Was trying to look at the Brunty website, the http://www.coldwarjets.co.uk says that the website has moved to http://www.coldwarjetscollection.co.uk but that says ‘Sorry this site is no longer in operation’, anyone know whats happened to it or if another Brunty site will return?

Set up a new site for Bruntingthorpe, pretty basic but hopefully it’ll mean more people find out about the place and visit. The address is http://brunty.bravehost.com and the address for the forum is http://brunty.17.forumer.com

Although the new website is very much still work in progress, http://www.buccsociety.com/index.htm is the place to find out about the status of the Buccaneers at Bruntingthorpe including our very own XX894. All of the existing Buccaneers are catered for as well and there is also a good little forum to boot!

There is a web page especially for our Buccaneer XX894 here: http://www.buccsociety.com/buccaneertrust.htm
It’s a bit bare at present but I fully intend to have current information on it over the next couple of weeks. If you cant wait that long, you could always go to the survivors page to see what we’ve been up to recently: http://www.buccsociety.com/survivors.htm
So check back regularly for progress if you like the one and only Banana Jet!

There will be absolutely no risk of our lot missing the open day Andy! See you all there.

Hi all, please keep an eye on our site its now the Bruntingthorpe link to the outside world, I run it with another (which is why I didnt volunter to take the Cold war jets site on as well) also got two lightnings to keep active and a Q shed to build so Im abit busy with it all.

If you have any questions about Bruntingthorpe just post on our site above or here and I will do my best to answer them, you have also got Phil,TT, Denis and Plazz out there to drop in their two penth. πŸ˜€

Dont forget our open day on the 8th July by the way πŸ™‚

This is the LPG site……..not coldwarjets collection but at least you can keep up to date with activities on the airfield.

Admin Chap here,

Yes i was looking for someone to take the site over, everyone i asked wasnt intrested in a bruntingthorpe site for reasons that i wont disclose. hence it has gone.

There are plenty of good forums around and i’m sure that the people that look after the aircraft at brunty will keep every one informed through (or maybe not) other than the excellent lightning crew i never had any input from anyone other than simon.
