After a lot of blood, sweat & tears, Bruntingthorpe’s recently arrived 2nd Buccaneer made noise on January 4th and again on the 10th.
On the 4th, only the Starboard side was spooled due to fast fading light and a lack of fuel in the palouste.
The runs on the tenth were on both engines, this time it was the aircraft that was out of fuel.
Should have some more fuel for both the aircraft and the palouste ready in time for early February.

Excellent news Nigel, thanks for sharing, they seem to have got her up and running in remarkably short order.I remember seeing her sitting dorment at Farnborough not so long ago and thinking what a shame it was that she was sitting silent.Best bit of news I’ve heard all day. 😎
