There’s probably a VERY simple explanation, but what is it that makes the “whistle” sound when a Hispano Buchon is flying?
I have a feeling it’s the exhaust, or maybe something to do with the supercharger, but not being an expert I couldn’t say for sure!
Help?!

Not mine – it’s the old Hobbycraft 1/48 Buchon, I pilfered this pic of a completed one from one of the modelling websites (forget which one, but it was built by Olivier Lacombe, I think).
Hannants have a 1/72 Buchon kit which I’m building just now – not bad, but half the Battle of Britain Buchon “add-ons” (the tail struts, the dummy guns, the aerial) are missing – and not just “not there”, they’re not even in the kit!! 🙁
