Build your air base scenario

rather than make a build your own air force that often can be vague.. here’s one with more specific limitations..

Scenario:

Your country (Green) and country (Red) were at peace after being allies in a war. However both countries began building up arms and country Red has began violating your borders with flight intrusions and over flights with recon aircraft. Furthermore they have began constructing a super carrier in a southern port, while heavily fortifying the northern region which is the gateway to their capitol.

As a result, your country intends to prepare for possible strikes and has created a forward air base on a large western Island in order to maximize reach as well as for early warning purposes.

Your military planners have decided that should country Green strike, they will plan an attack and landing operation on the fortified positions. This will act as a diversion while another group intends to take out the super carrier and shipdocks in order to halt their naval developments.

Your Mission:
The air base has no aircraft and needs to be configured in order to carry out these two missions. You will be allowed to choose squadrons from other air bases in the country, each squadron holds 12 aircraft. Your country buys weapons from 2 sources in order to lessen dependence on one source.. and currently has:

2 Squadrons Mirage 2000-D
4 Squadrons F-16C B.52
4 Squadrons MiG-29 Flanker-C
8 Squadrons F-4 Terminator
2 Squadrons Hawk
5 KC-10
3 E-3
5 Atlantique
10 C-17s
20 UH-60
25 CH-47

Your air base can only hold up to 6 squadrons. Assisting you will be a carrier fleet that includes 2 squadrons of F-14D and 2 squadrons of F-18Ds, and the marines who will be landing there with their LHDs, M-8 tanks and M-2s.. however they will need air support.

The enemy is believed to have about 2 squadrons of Su-27, 3 squadrons of Tornado IDS, and 20 AH-24’s defending the fortifications as well as 3,000 soldiers.

The ship port has another 2 squadrons of Su-27s, 2 squadrons of Sea-Harriers, and alot of Zsu-23 and Sa-8’s surrounding the harbor.

Your goal is to create an air base and decide how to use the aircraft as well as supporting units to create the diversion at the fortification while destroying the carrier and port.
