Build your air force scenario!!

You are a tiny North African nation that has is abundant in natural gas and other oddities and has been at odds with a neighboring country to whom you’ve fought 1 war with.

Your country currently has
3 squadrons F-8 Crusader
5 Squadrons F-5
2 Squadrons A-4

for fixed wing combat aircraft. While they may be old, you have scored many victories with them, are in good condition, and most of your personnel consist of volunteers from developed nations and some mercs.

Aerial combat is more frequent because the hostility between the two side isn’t in regards to territory, but rather, to damage the infrastructre of the other side due to economic rivalries. To put it simply, the other guy wants to mess up your country so it can’t survive on its own.

Your enemy is far bigger than you, in terms of numbers they are 4x bigger than you, but the bulk of the air force is primarily equipped with MiG-21s and 23’s. However they do have 2 squadrons of MiG-29s and 1 squadron of Su-30MKK for ground attack.

Unlike your airforce, most of their airforce lacks experience and leadership.
However, this country actually has a better navy than yours and operates a Kuznetsov class carrier equipped with 10 MiG-29Ks and several Harriers

Your president has recently fired his defense minister who has been cheap and refused to buy new weapons. As a result your country has saved up alot of money to replace is inventory. your goal is to develop an air force that can defend against the large enemy force and capable of destroying their fleet. your limit is 10 squadrons.
