Apologises as this may not be the exact forum but does any one know what is the current situation with the Russian Buran Space Shuttle serial OK-GLI which has been residing in a shipping yard in Bahrain for the last few years. She was supposed to have been sold to a technical/aviation musuem in Munich Germany some time back but I presume that this has not yet happened?
This particular aircraft made 25 flights within the earths atmosphere (not space) so I suppose technically it would come under Soviet military aviation.
She was last seen on Display in Sydney Australia so not too sure how she ended up in Bahrain gathering sand.
Kind regards in anticipation of any information or photographs of her.
