I really despise them. We were burgled last night, luckily there was little damage. It really annoys me, what is their point? How can they steal of people who have done absolutely nothing to them? And even if we had, why steal? Retards. I would like to beat #caugh# meet the people who burgled my house. They were lucky I didnt wake up.

Now THAT’s a policy I can get behind!
Remind us where PCP is manufactured? You can’t even sort out problems in your own back yard SOC. I’m sure you must be a free-market capitalist: the demand comes from your neighbors, why blame the supplier for meeting their needs?

Thanks for the support guys, shows that the honest are still the majority!

On a trip to the states i saw a sign of a silhouette of a hand gun on a coloured back ground with the words I LIVE HERE,i thought what a deterrent.

Minidoh
you have my sympathy about the break-in, and I surely empathise with your sentiments. However the odds are that no-one will be caught for it.
I was burgled twice last year, the guy came back 4 months later to get the stuff the insurance company replaced. The worst bit was the disruption trying to get things sorted out with the police and insurance, and I have been nervous about leaving the house for any length of time. (the second break-in happened about 15 minutes after I had gone out).
All you can do is make sure your house is secure, and lock all windows and doors at night.
best wishes
Ken

Napalm their plantations and put a few LGBs in their mansions, that’ll show them we mean business.

You are right, Laviticus. Many crimes are rooted in drugs problems. What i would like to know is, why are the UK and the USA fighting terrorists in iraq, when there are drugs barons in Afganistan and South America that deserve a good hiding??

Christ, what’s happening in the world, bring back the fifties whan we all lived in Pleasantville
Is that the very fifties were people had nothing to nick or the local area was run by the mob so any robber had to get permission from mr kray or richardson and pay a kick back. 😀
Drugs i think are the real reason they even try to get in to our houses, it must be, for any sane person would not take the risk of some one or a dog being home.
Thanks for your sympathy flag officer ,he must have subdued him as a garden spade was found in the bedroom, but bless him when he came around he took the fight back to him on the landing ,before the cu de gra.
I remember a story that a friend related to me,
A chap returned home early from a night shift ,to find a burglar helping him self to his valuables. To cut a long story short he spent several hours alone with the offender and undercover of darkness, he deposited the now very bruised man over a small hedge ,several streets away. The police were called as the owner of the hedge recognised him.he was charged with assault and said he would do it all again, nice.

Hey guys, I certainly don’t disagree with some of your sentiments regarding individuals who have nothing better to do than steal and whatnot, but still, try and keep the discussion civil and within the boundaries set by the Code of Conduct. The rules still apply no matter what the topic.

Send the @***holes to Iraq to get shot instead of our boys who actually mean something to us and who do a damn fine job………bloody criminals wouldn’t last 5 seconds out there…….. Mark 😡 😡

About plants: one test was made once, on All Saints’ day, someone put plants on a grave, each time with an “X” marked under the pot.
At the end of the day, they chacked, and all plants did move in the cemetary…

I think that if someone breaks into your property, and you catch them, then you should be able to do what the hell you want to them, if you want to kick them to death then you should be able to, instead of bloody burglars and other criminals having more rights than the victims. People should not be punished for giving criminals a good going over, this “reasonable force” is a load of *********s.

A dog stolen? I’ve heard of cats going “missing” but dogs?
Knowing how strongly you can bond with a dog it is not surprising the lady had a breakdown.
As you say Flags – it makes for depressing reading…

My father had plants stolen aswell!
I find this thread quite disturbing and am so sorry about your dog, Laviticus.
This brings me on to another type of theft – animals.
I know of an elderly couple who had their dog stolen from their car – it destroyed them. The woman had a nervous breakdown. They never did find out what happened to their beloved dog – it is so sad!

What is the world coming to?
And people say we are civilised.
My late nan (not due to the thefts) had plants stolen from her garden several times. PLANTS!!!! What is it with people. I know it distressed her and infuriated my mum.
And what chance is there of having these people caught eh? Very little I fear. I think Laviticus is one of the lucky ones to have a kind of justice…

Sadly… not. Here on the countryside it is common, as the houses often are bungalows. -> easier access for them to the bedrooms.
It is usually very organised gangs, mostly from easters Europe around here. They also used to mark the houses with a chalk (Identifying dogs, alarms, valuables, ..). Of course at first, people didn’t know what it was, so left those marks. And when the houses were pinpointed, it wasn’t uncommon to hear of a whole street robbed in less than a week!
Using a sedative gas has the big advantage for them of not being at risk.
Luckily, it calmed down here the past couple of years.

If you are surprised you get robbed at night, just know that (it is the fact in Belgium at least), they let gas in the house through an open window to make sure you are asleep. The house could crumble down, you wouldn’t notice.
I always thought that was common place if you lived in a caravan/mobile home but in a house? – they broke into ours through a kitchen window which is in the back garden.
I doubt most robbers would go into that much trouble….unless it was a mansion or a place with plenty of real valuable stuff.
