Buried……. Bf109!

Despite the comment in the article I’ve not found this elsewhere on the intertubes (so sorry, but just a Fartbook link), but it seems that the Malta Aviation Museum has become the proud owner of a recently unearthed Bf109F-2.

Interesting – I couldn’t see the WIX thread at all – in fact, it looked as though no-one had posted there in days.

ETA – how the hell did he get out of that in one piece? I certainly wouldn’t have turned down a glass of something strong if I’d just been extracted!
