Just a quick thank you to Rod Dean for his display in the ARC Mk. XVIII over the village festival this afternoon, it was much appreciated by the public in attendance as well as the odd aero ‘nut’ in the crowd. It was well worth suffering the 3 mile uphill bike ride from Welwyn Garden City.
In case you’re wondering how a small village manages a Spitfire display most years, a certain Mr. Romain was brought up there.
