Burnt Blackburn Ripon

From Kari Stenman’s “Maritime aircraft”: RI-158, III-series, Nro 24. Handed over to LAs 2 on 25th September 1934. Caught fire on 7th February 1939 at altitude of 50 meters and crashed at Santahamina. Lieutenant M. Loikkanen died. Total flight time 414 h 40 min.

Though this is not a burnt Ripon it was close it wasn’t burnt. RI-156 was almost hit by (missed by 20-30 feet) what I believe to be an AO-10 (a fragmentation bomb) at Nurmoila airfield on 15.-16.6.1942.
