Hi,
Did any one manage to get any photos of Air Force One landing at LHR today?
From the “media” it would appear that Bush will be leaving tommrrow morning following breakfast with Toni Blair heading over the water to Belfast.

I was there – but the photos were crap that i got as his entire fleet used the 27L for landing as opposed to 27R like the other aircraft
The reason they changed to 27L is because the Royal Suite, which is used for arriving/departing VIPs/dignitries, is located very close by so they would have just be able to land and pull up outside rather than having the a/c having to do a circuit of LHR’s taxiways and cross 27L!
Biggest problem is when the airspace around LHR has to be closed off to all other air traffic, so it can cause lots of delays to normal flights…if it were me I think I would put it in the stacks and make him wait just like everyone else…”Welcome to London Mr President, sorry for the delay!”:D

I hoping to get back up there tomorrow to see it go – just hope they dont mess around with runways again!
