There a few rumors flying around that Airbus could be annoucing the sale of one or more A380s to various incredibly rich individuals.
One of them would supposedly be the King of Jordan, although I think it would be someone from the UAE, maybe the Emir of Dubai. It seems to me that these people are just trying to acquire the latest toy on the market. If these rumors were true, it would seem a little extravagant to me considering the amount of large jets these people already have at their disposal. Do they really need another monstrous flying suite or is ot just for bragging rights!

I’m sure if Abramovich keeps making money the way he is he’ll get one, he’s ‘only’ got a 767 at the moment hasn’t he?

There are loads of VIP configured 747s about from the Middle East, I dont think it will be too long before we see an A380.

Hmm….I don’t know….
There was a rumour that a horse-racing notable from those parts was planning to buy an A380 for use as a flying horse box with room to exercise his horses en route to major race meetings in the USA, Europe and Far East.
Horses are, it seems, potentially more prone to DVT than humans on long flights.
It makes sense in a way, I suppose.
