The Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) will once again take place at the Farnborough Aerodrome on Saturday 22 & Sunday 23 July 2006. A fun-filled family day out is guaranteed for any age group.
The beautiful skyline in Hampshire/Surrey borders will be dominated with the most exhilarating displays of every stage of Aerospace technology that we have witnessed over the years. Including the most up to date technological advancements the world has seen.
With a 4 ½ hour flying display, static display, 5 exhibition halls, seminars and many family rides and attractions, FIA promises to be a day like no other.

There’s lots to do for everyone!
At Farnborough there is so much to see and do and to keep the whole family entertained, we provide a wide selection of extreme rides, big inflatables, carousels, face painters, trampolines, climbing wall and so on and so on… and the best of all is that they are open all day Saturday & Sunday and are all completely free!
In addition to this, other activities for children include arts & crafts. An area is dedicated for children to paint, glue, glitter and stick until their hearts content.
You are bound to meet someone famous at Farnborough just look at who you might bump into! Of course the most famous of all has to be Captain Farnborough and he is looking forward to meeting you.

Flying Display/Static Display
The red arrows are always a favourite!
There are lots of planes to see in the air as well as on the ground!
The flying display lasts for approximately 4 ½ hours. Starting at around 1230 hrs the display includes a selection of historic to modern and civil to military aircraft. With aerobatics and the famous Red Arrows performing their breathtaking stunts the crowds are guaranteed to be enthralled.
The static display runs in parallel with the exhibition and give visitors the opportunity to view the aircraft close up.
A full flying display schedule will be available from June 2006.
Exhibits & Seminars
There is lots to see and lots to do!
Get the kids involved with aerospace.
In the main exhibition arena you will undoubtedly enjoy visiting the exhibits within the 5 exhibition halls. A vast array of the most up to date technology is on show so that you can learn what the future of aerospace holds.
In addition to the Aerospace exhibits and new to the 2004 show we will be bringing back the International Space pavilion and the Motorsports Pavilion.
A series of seminars will be held over the public weekend to engage with the public and get the kids envolved and excited by aerospace.

By Car: The Aerodrome is located approximately 30 miles (48km) from Central London and is accessible from the M3, M25 and A23 via junction 8 of the M25. Car Parking will be available either on or adjacent to the site.
