Buzz Lightyear

congrats to the Austrian bloke for “falling with style!” all the way across the Channel this morning. Must have been a blast, although a small voice is saying “so what?” in the back of my mind. What do you think, aviation milestone or meaningless stunt?

I believe it’s a stunt, although not a meaningless one.

I don’t also think that a man with some wings strapped to his back could be classed as “Aviation”. He wanted a challenge and to entertain the people of the world.

Meaningless stunt… I could wear wings on my back and sit in a 747 and fly around the world… what would that mean?
