In order to try to get someone from this forum into the airlines of the future I plan to post whenever I hear of any pilot sponsorships up for grabs. This one does require a PPL and 180 hours but who know, there may be someone reading this who has the requirements. If not and you want to be a pilot in the future it may be worth doing a private license and getting a few hours in the bag before letting an airline pay the rest.

Good info Wysiwyg, I passed on the info you posted about the JMC cadetship to a production planning dept at the BBC with a view to them doing a docu series on the New Zealand/UK training. They think it’s a good ideaa, but typically by the time it’s approved it will be too late to do the project justice.
