Times change, The Red Arrows did this many times at displays, especially over Blackpools piers. It was the shock factor that caused the panic and no wonder after the twin towers.
I thought the Red Arrows did this sort of thing slightly in front of the crowd line, but only just in front thus giving the effect of being directly overhead?
