Hi all,
At 1720 BST today (30/04/06) BY098A will be the last ever Britannia Airways flight leaving the UK under the radio callsign “Britannia”. Departs Newcastle for Monastir. From 1st of May it will be solely knows as “Thomson” with the IATA and ICAO of “TOM”
“Britannia” will be missed, but i’m sure it’ll be the same as Speedbird – Shuttle, they’ll always make a mistake! e.g. ” Good evening speedbi…Shutlle 12 Tango” 🙂
Bye BY

Yeah, agree with you about them being missed, I loved em when they were Britannia, and now they are calling it Thomsonfly…has no British appeal to it. And the opinions I have heard from recent flyers so far aren’t too positive!
