Hi Guys,
I’m sure the majority have known the day was coming, but with the arrival of this mornings Las Vegas service (BD752), their long haul operations out of Manchester came to an end.
The last remaining MAN based A332 (GWWBM) will be used on operations out of LHR.

after the flat bed upgrade on the a330s they had the best premium econ seats arround
ie the old first class seats moved back and replaced the old premium ones

didn’t work for me :(. if youve uploaded it to photo bucket. go to library, find the picture and hover over the top right of the thumbnail, then click on get direct links. then click on the img code at the bottom and it will automatically copy it. then just paste it in your post :). hope thats helped

One of the 330’s is being broken for spares!
They will still live on in Regional, as they I think own the name now.
yeh we still get the little Emb 135 and 145’s carrying the BMI livery so not completely lost 🙂

I will definitely miss them. I enjoyed my work experience with them at LHR in 1999 when I was 15!
Definitely my favourite airline.

Yes landed, had a couple of trumpeters in full dinner jackets etc… did a photoshoot with staff on steps, then towed it back down to the taxiway, two fire engines were parked at the top of the taxiway, it fired up and taxied off up through it, took off did a circuit and the highest flyby I have ever seen and departed.

They did a water canon salute at EMA today? i know they did one on the 27th at heathrow. damn 🙁 i went straight home once it had landed, typical.

Chris you not get the water canon salute? If I’d known you were there I could have told you where to go to get it., I have it filmed on my iPad. Still 3 more to go two in BA colours and there will be one in BMI colours but with a BA fin.

but BMI regional was created on Saturday so there will be 18 BMI painted Embraers for quite a lot longer
