Bye Bye Duxford Mystere ???

Hello everyone, time for my (seemingly) annual question on the forum!!

A recent report has the IWM Mystere IVA as being at Mildenhall for transport to the US.

Is this true and if so, is anything coming back in return?

In my travels of US air Museums, I can’t ever remember seeing a Mystere IVA anywhere, so when you remember that these were paid for by the US then I guess its about time one went there.

Thanks
Willow

P.S. How’s the forum doing these days, looks pretty good to me!

Oh no be careful, this has been covered elsewhere, you will be subjected to pages of abuse telling you to use the search function…

That aside it seems to have gone back under the Lend Lease agreement, and good to see you are still around Willow.

I did actually try the search function, but clearly ‘Mystere’ wasn’t in the other threads title.

I’ll look a bit harder, thanks:o

I like to think of it as ‘over engineered’ – er, did I spell that right?

Or do I mean ‘spelt that correctly’? πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€
