Bye, Bye Grumpy – Duxford 29Aug09

As the doors to the visitors centre opened at 10.00, I could hear a Harvard powering up and by the time I got outside it had taken off and Grumpy was starting to roll down the runway. Fortunately Grumpy and Taz, acting as a camera ship, did a couple of circuits of Duxford before departing north. About 5 minutes later Taz returned with a run and break.

Apologies for any dust spots I’ve not cloned out, but in my haste to change lens I neglected to shield the open camera from the elements and consequently got dust on the sensor and the usual caveat of shooting into the morning Duxford sun and everything in the shade applies as well.
