RE: bye bye Spain

FIFA is now looking at having another referee/official on the ground at the next World cup so the on field Referee and side line refs can focus on what they are supposed to do. Will be interesting. Otherwise I think Spain was denied a clear win. Korea have done really well and they are no doubt a good team, but they had a lot of luck this time.

Regards, Glenn.

RE: bye bye Spain

I tend to go for the middle ground.

FIFA have deliberately appointed poor or unproven referees and linesmen for games involving the hosts.

That is the extent of the corruption. They didn’t ordain a Spanish exit, they just tipped the scales in the desired direction…

But no doubt, FIFA is very corrupt, especially Sep Blatter. Illuminating that Michel Zen Rufinen called for his resignation because of corruption and mis-management, then “resigned” himself leaving Blatter in the clear!

Do you remember the histrionics with Germany 2006 – envelopes stuffed under hotel doors, the outcry over the FIFA Kiwi chap?

Of course refereers are cheating. Even FIFA are admitting that some irregularities are being found and some will be severly punished. When there´s an overwhelming oppinion about the cleaness of the game, with serious implications and all the press in most of the countries of the world points that there´s something odd here, of course I have my suspicious. FIFA has always been a net of dirty businees and everybody know that. I never expected they could go so further. Of course Spain didn´t played as they were expected, but in any case two goals scored. If they had played properly and had scored more, would these had been anulated?.

RE: bye bye Spain

First of all, I am disappointed in Spain’s ejection from the World Cup. Video evidence clearly shows that if the first goal shouldn’t have stood (I think it was a goal), the second one was most definitely a poor decision. I think it is harsh to claim that the referees are cheating and that the games are fixed. The refereeing standard has in a number of games been very poor and definitely needs addressing before the next major international tournament. Surely there is a case for video replays of decisions which are marginal or where the officials are unsighted.

Having said that, the results cannot be changed and I would now love to see South Korea or Turkey go all the way and really upset the dominance of the so-called major footballing nations.

In any case, something regional…..please contagrulate me….My humble city´s football team goes to second division next year. So we were much more concerned about the last match than the world cup and we won….so celebrations. GO COMPOSTELA

I am certainly naive, and expected clean game. I have been reading is various international newspaper, which point the incredible hebaviour of refereer, that Hyndai (Close friend of Blatter) has given millions of dollar for the Koreans to get to the final….let´see what´s going on with Germany…GO GERMANY.

Well, the referee of the final will be Kunila. He’s probably one of the best ever, he looks like Robocop, but he’s fair.

Poor SPAIN – I really wanted them to go to the final. They are the real winners, SK was cheated into the semi finals. Although I´m german I do not care if they beat us or not, with the game against Spainthe Worldcup has ended for me.

Welcome to the club, hermano…:'(

These results are being outrageously “fabricated”…
I heard that South Korea has been having the same sideline referee for 4 of 5 games already played. They’re being carried on the lap to the finals…

After Portugal’s defeat (we played awfully, I know!) I was betting on Spain but now all I can say is that FIFA’s greed for Asian money is spoiling the game!

And now…Deutschland uber Älles!!!}>

I don´t like football, but this is simply enough and unaceptable. The Koreans, like with the italians, played with an extra player. The refereer. Spain dominated, had lots of chances, made them to dance, and won the match and was sent home by Fifa, beacuse the companies like Hynduai, Sangsung and many others with big business and eager of sponsorazing want the korean in the final. The is a big conspirancy….two legal goals from Spain eliminated by a creep Egytian refeer. All international newspapers points that. Germans should be very worried. The country is outraged, the Spanish in FIFA have resigned and we don´t rule out taking Spain out of FIFA. Sport should be clean and not a net of dirty interests. I don´t really care who wins the World CUp.

RE: bye bye Spain

Nahh, this ain’t possible. All the European favourites are out, how strange. It’s just those lousy referees. Some of these man really are not qualified to be referees, at least not for such important games. In our game Belgium-Brazil we had one from the Maldives, I mean, the Maldives are maybe a nice place to live, but I can hardly imagine that they are so good at football.

South Korea was lucky to beat Portugal, it was strange they’ve beaten Italy and Spain, and if they’ll beat Germany, next time all European teams should make one front against Sk :D. Nah, just kidding.
