C-17 Wic

USAF C-17 crews recently completed the first C-17 weapons instructor course (WIC) at Nellis AFB near Las Vegas. Designed to train crews on how to effectively operate at low level in combat zones, the WIC put crews through an intensive 23 week program covering all aspects of mission employment of the C-17, including aircraft defensive systems, threats, advanced mission planning, aircraft performance, large formation operations, airdrops and low level flying.
