C-47 D-Day and operation Market Garden, colours and markings.

I am interested in finding out unit/squadron colours and codes/markings used by Troop Carrier Squadrons used in the D-day and Market Garden operations during World War Two.

Does anyone have information on web sites on the internet and/or perhaps books that may deal with that subject. Also does anyone know what Squadron was depicted in the Band Of Brothers tv series?

I am not sure about the BBMF C-47 .Will have to have a look .Still non the wiser about the D-Day codes and colour schemes.A bit more searching on the net I think.
