The BAHF wanted to stay low on this one, until the press leaked out the story.
They knew the “Angel of Deliverance” might not be ready for take-off even when lining up on the runway,
so just to avoid many sad faces they did not contact the press, etc…
They were right, this C-97G Stratofreighter behaved somewhat temperamental this Wednesday 31 May and Thursday 1 June…..
