Last Friday (27th-Oct) I was at Duxford and went for a flight on the Classic Wings Rapide, while in the air we were passed by a C130, nothing odd about that.
However immediately after we landed back at Duxford so did the Herc’. It then proceeded to make a number of take-offs and landings, before departing around 16.00 hrs.
Apart from never having heard of such an event the odd thing was that the Herc’ appeared to have no markings.
Any clues as to what and why?

Bograt reliably informs me it was a “Stealth-Bucket from “the Hall” on an intruder training mission to test out “Area 51’s” jamming defences against prying lenses and intruders as part of the ongoing Aurora drop-in maintenance contract ARC have with the USAF/CIA 😀

If it’s a USAF Herc they probably got lost and wondered why they could’nt see Marshalls of Cambridge written somewhere :dev2: :diablo:
