Ladies, Gents,

For a museum in the Netherlands (http://www.wingsofliberation.nl) I am trying to find the history of a C47. We may/will acquire the cockpit of this grand old lady for (after restoration) display at the museum and may even, depending on the condition of the cockpit and the behaviour of our visitors, allow the visitors to sit in this cockpit and pretend to be the pilot.

The information available today is;

Construction number c/n 25527 / N10005

I have searched the net but did not find much more than that it was delivered to the RAF in 1943 so I turn to you in the hope that you will be able to help us out.
