Call it a 'newspaper'?

My opinion is based on the fact that the Guardian is full of left wing drivel. Like the BBC, it is little more than a propaganda machine for Labour. It is the most politically biased newspaper in the UK, and I include the Daily Heil in that statement. All in my humble opinion, of course. 🙂

If it is of any relevance at all, my political pendulum swings firmly towards the center ground. I’m just sick of the Westminster establishment and the public sector damaging this country with its left wing agenda.

I figure you are basing your humble(!) opinion on the Guardian not being on your far right side of the political divide, and possibly the Snowden affair too… Have you never looked at the Daily Star, or (politically) the Morning Star?

I know from the bitter experience of associates that the Daily Mail strong arms rather than apologises, whereas the Guardian has a fairly regular and comprehensive corrections page. In many respects the Heil is much worse than the red tops, but as part of their (occasional) settlement they always tick the no publicity box; you might like to check which newspapers are regularly dragged to court steps (but not always inside), although it won’t stand up to your ideological test so you will promptly ignore it.

I don’t know what people expect these days, all the papers are terrible. Although it’s easy to give the Mail and the Express a bashing, the Guardian is the worst of them all IMO.

I’m really quite perturbed at the level of abuse hurled at this temple to journalistic excellence. If the purpose of a newspaper is to entertain and inform then, to use a vulgarism: “It does what it says on the tin”.

Personally, I prefer the Daily Mail.

I think this rag has history with wildly extravagant weather forecasting. I wonder if they ever publish an apology for printing arrant nonsense

Whereas here we’ve got the usual dreary drizzle which knackers outside activities like motorbiking, flying, gardening, barbecues and anything else.
