I visited Cambridge for a couple of hours this morning, the DDA dakotas didn’t arrive whilst I was there ! but some different and interesting aircraft recorded within two hours, possibly linked to Duxford just up the road ?? Keith.

Cessna 172N.
Beechcraft 76 Duchess.

Lots of storms, in particular the southern half. I just came back from work and noticed several uprooted trees.

Nice! I wonder if they turned up in the end? Hmm! A friend of mine lives in Belgium and mentioned they had storms so I wonder if they did in Holland too?

The Dutch Dakotas were at Duxford. I also saw one of Marshall’s fire appliances there so presumably that solved the fire cover issue that I understand was the reason they were intending on landing at Cambridge in the first place.
