Over on FB someone is trying to track down this one:

Boeing B-17
“Country Boys Paradise”
Lost on 4th April 1945 on a raid to Finkenwarder U-boat Yard near Hamburg
43 38571
Pilot George R Boller
366th BS 305th BG .

Thanks for that.

The MACR says ‘Near Papworth’, the other information is ‘the plane came down in a field on North Hill, Haddenham’

B17G-90-BO. 43-38571 code KY-P.

This B.17 was taking off from Chelveston on 4.4.45 when it hit a tree causing much damage. It was taken to a safe height
and abandoned. Site of crash not known in my records. Hope this helps a little.
