Hi
I got a Panasonic NV-GS27EB digital camcorder last year which I brought to Legends and this years BBMF day at Duxford. I haven’t been too impressed with my attempts at filming the planes in flight though. I can pretty much keep them in frame, but due to any shaking in my hands there is alot of ‘ghosting’ or ‘shadowing’ around the planes, especially when zoomed in. Almost like seeing double sometimes.
I hope that using a different shutter speed might help, but would like advice from the more experienced members of this forum. The camera has the following shutter speed range: 1/50 to 1/8000.
Here are some samples from the BBMF day.
