A great shame it is not open.
The Vengeance itself would make it a worthwhile visit, but it looks sad at the moment…the place is littered with rubbish.
I can recall visiting in the 70s and I’m sure I was told the Vengeance was a runner at the time.

Good photos and the place looks very cleaned up since my last visit many years ago.
But what is happening there? Is it not open to the public due to council regulations, lack of funds, lack of volunteers or whatever.?
Does anyone know?
