Camera forum Question

Hi,

I think a camera forum would be a good idea in a way? anyone else?

Pointless. There are photographic forums all over the net where people with serious knowledge and skill abound.

Thats good.
So if someone who just wanted to know a suitable shutter speed for blurring props, or wanted to know why their pix were always underexposed were to go on these knowledgeable forums do you think they would get swamped by well-meaning but totally useless photographers all trying to get our buddy to uprate their films or hang an ND on the front…?
Do these forums require that only their members can pose questions?

People ask questions, they always do: have you ever refused to help someone? Me neither, if I could. Just wish that it was not the same old questions all the time. Questions about equipement are always useful to someone, and it helps us to polish our jaded memories.
I would not go posting questions on other photographic forums – I have had the inverse square law confusingly explained to me too many times…

Hi All,

A quick question over on the Historic forum there was a question should we have a seperate forum for Camera question were we have been inform by the Webmaster that this will not happen.

So what does the Trip Report Forum think.
