Camou schemes

Camou schemes sure have evolved these last 20 years, however which is the “right” camou scheme?

for example…

Venezuelan Air Force F-16s are painted in a brown/green/black color, which matches the jungle surroundings of the region. However Malaysia, also an area that is mostly jungle, have aircraft painted in mainly low visibility grey.

Many Israeli and Iranian aircraft sport a desert scheme, while many Kuwaiti and Saudi aircraft use the low visibility Grey.

So why does one choose the camou to match the terrain or the low visibility one?

What were the reasons of the swedish AF choosing the two tone grey scheme over the one tone grey they had earlier, and the green splinter one even earlier?

also since we’re at this subject..anyone got a picture of a MiG-29 in desert scheme? I know they exist.
